There will be six Match(es) in the CCG competition and a Match will take place over a Saturday and a Sunday with 4 cities competing against each other. The city that simply earns the most points will be the winner.
Eligibility: Teams will be comprised of around 80 athletes. Athletes competing for each city will be local athletes as they must be born in the city or have lived there for the preceding 3 years to be eligible to represent the city. There will be wildcard places for athletes that don’t satisfy that criteria but wildcards will be limited to a maximum of 6 athletes per team
Competition will be fierce as the athletes that compete for each city will be the best available in the city and the better they perform, the better their city will do. The CCG has been set up to support and provide benefit to athletes. We are therefore committed to giving 70% of the net revenue to the athletes. This means that 70% of the net revenue from the competition will be paid directly to the competing athletes. The success of the event in terms of numbers of spectators and the athlete’s performance in their event will determine how much an athlete is paid but all athletes will be paid.
An all day ticket for the CCG competition will provide entertainment of the highest quality with athletes delivering great performances in their events. In addition there will be music and other entertainment, and a top quality meal will also be provided free to ticket holders. We’ll look after you!

Should the "One and Done" rule be changed to give athletes a chance? Zharnel Hughes was disqualified in the Tokyo 100 metre final, a race he has trained his ENTIRE career for. We know the main reason for the rule ie TV scheduling, and it does keep things moving along but.... Long jumpers aren't disqualified if they touch the plasticine, discus throwers aren't disqualified if they throw out of the sector so why is it accepted as ok to throw runners out of races for a single error? Surely there is another way?
